The 'Kesar' mango, is a mango cultivar grown in the Kokan region of Maharashtra in, western India. The mango is known for its bright orange colored pulp and was given the geographical indication status in 2011. Given taste, it is only second to Alphonso mango from Maharashtra Konkan belt, which many of us describe it as best on planet earth.
